Unify the styling of the whole website and all pages.
Centralize all global .css code in frontend/css/style.css but page specific code are to put into
frontend/css/map.css and blog.css

Implemented on branch andre.

Closed with commits:

  • 3cf07d0 Centralize readable app theme colors
  • 4bf7dc2 Add dark mode theme switcher

Changes:

  • Centralized the shared styling variables in css/style.css.
  • Fixed low-contrast text/background combinations across the app.
  • Added a theme selector with Dark, Light, and System options.
  • Set Dark as the default theme.
  • Added System mode so the app can follow the user's OS preference.

Verified locally that the updated frontend scripts parse correctly and that the CSS/JS files are served by the local frontend server.
